Description
6 day class
Good tools deserve a good home, and a good tool box often reflects the care and concern of the craftsman. The design for the traveling tool box was taken from many old tool chests that were made in the last century, tool chests that have stood the test of time. In this six-day workshop you will have the opportunity to refresh your skills on hand-cut dovetails as well as learn how to construct a frame and panel while mortising the back frame and raising the panel by hand. When you are finished, you will have a fine tool box worthy of your fine tools and one that will last for years to come. The box will be made in alder, which is a lightweight, yet strong, wood.
This class is from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Prerequisite: Six-Day Foundational Joinery Course
