Description
2 day class
In this two-day workshop you will warp the loom using direct warping and learn a variety of finishing techniques and lace weaves including hemstitch, Italian hemstitch, trellis hemstitch, leno, Mexican leno, Danish medallion and Brook’s Bouquet that you can use to enhance all your handwoven pieces. On the first day, you will complete a sampler of the stitches and weaves learned.

We will be using the book Finishing Touches for the Handweaver by Virginia West. Materials and the Virginia West book are included in the cost of the class.
