Description
In this class you will learn how to work with rayon chenille and how to weave a plaid scarf. Chenille is an attractive and soft fabric that drapes well and is very popular. However, when weaving with this material, it is important to know certain techniques in order to avoid difficulties. You can then finish the project at home.
Please remember to bring the following to class:
loom
an 8-dent reed and three 12″ stick shuttles
warping peg
threading hook
paper or sticks for winding on
scissors
tape measure
reed
fabric strips
lacing on cord
cardboard or sticks for front beam
Prerequisites: Rigid Heddle 100 & Rigid Heddle 102 & Rigid Heddle 104
