Description
1 day class
In this one-day workshop you will learn how to work with fine cotton thread. You will direct warp the loom and double sley the reed, a technique that allows you to weave with finer threads and also speeds up the warping process. You will learn to work a traditional waffle weave pattern using a pick-up stick. We will give you a pattern to make a set of full-sized dish towels at home.
We also have looms for sale if you wish to purchase your own. If you wish to purchase a loom for use in this class, please call us at (254) 300-2436 at least a week before the class. (You are eligible for a 10% discount on purchases made at the time of class.)
