Build a Four-Drawer Dresser
Many people have asked us over the years to do a course on making a dresser, so here it is!
In this 12-day intensive course, you will learn chest construction, from dovetailing large carcasses to frame and panel construction. The first week will be spent on the making of the carcass and the second week will be spent on making and fitting the drawers. You will learn how to cut half-blind dovetails as well as the art of fitting drawers to tight tolerances.
We will pre-glue the large panels prior to the class as well as pre-mill most of the parts (in the interest of time).
In this class, we make this dresser in cherry. If you would like to make it in walnut, it will be an additional $160.00.

NOTE: We offer a Deferred Payment Option for classes costing over $1,000.00. You’ll need to pay 50% of the registration fee when you register and then the balance will be due 30 days prior to your class. NOTE: This class will close 1 week prior to the start date of the class.
Note: Since our workshops are specifically designed for adults, an individual must be 18 years old to enroll in a class. All students should wear practical work clothes and shoes. For your safety, we ask that you do not wear shorts or sandals to a class you are attending.
