6 day class

This workshop involves the essential elements of frame making and carcass construction including half-blind dovetails and mortise-and-tenon joinery. You will build a fine end table complete with a fitted drawer. Learn how to cut half-blind dovetails and learn the art of fitting drawers to a table. You will take home a fine table and the skills along with plans to build another at home.  In this class, we make this table in cherry. If you would like to make it in walnut, it will be an additional $80.00.

This class is from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

NOTE: We offer a Deferred Payment Option for classes costing over $1,000.00. You’ll need to pay 50% of the registration fee when you register and then the balance will be due 30 days prior to your class.  (We will charge the balance to the same card you used when you registered for your class.) When you add the class to your shopping cart, you will automatically be charged the full amount of the class unless you put in the Coupon Code of WOODCLASS. (This code is case sensitive. Prerequisite: Joinery II: Woodworking Basics (3-day)

NOTE: This class will close 1 week prior to the start date of the class.

Note: Since our workshops are specifically designed for adults, an individual must be 18 years old to enroll in a class. All students should wear practical work clothes and shoes. For your safety, we ask that you do not wear shorts or sandals to a class you are attending.
